Merry Christmas

So much is broken, has broken, over the years, but we still try and try and try, repair and restore, begin anew, on Christmas. It’s a good day to reach out to someone you love,to break a silence.

We need more goodwill, more time, more glue.

This began as a Facebook post, a simple thought.  The thought of repair, of devotion to repair, which first requires devotion to the very concept of repair, as opposed to discard. Something is fighting us; We have to fight back, with love, more and more unafraid.

We take very tiny steps, but that is enough, so long as we don’t stop– let the snowbank take us. There is something that is on our side. You can hear and feel it if you ask.

So Merry Christmas all broken loving souls. Thank you for being a Truth Barrier friend.

I promise you I have no clue either, but I have matches and candles, always.

With love,

  1. I have to add, and I hope it makes sense, that in some ways I’d prefer to remain broken, because it keeps me in touch with parts of myself that I’d miss entirely when the broken parts became stronger.

  2. Thank you Celia. And best wishes to you as well.
